Parents must THIS PERMISSION SLIP, (also linked on the right side of the Brady homepage) then you will be able to buy a ticket for $5 during your lunch, Feb. 25th - Mar. 1st.

Cheer tryouts will be on Wednesday 2/27. The report time 5:15PM with tryouts beginning at 6PM. Don’t miss your chance to be a part of the fabulous OHS Cheer team! We hope to see you on Monday to learn all required material. Dress in athletic clothes and bring a water bottle.

You Rocked it! Thanks to all who purchased items from the PTA Book Fair and participated in the activities and contests throughout the week.

The answer to Friday’s trivia question was the Mesozoic Era. Anjali Chepyala and Yavuz Sumer had the correct answer and won the drawing. Completing the Book Fair Scavenger Hunt and winning the drawing for the Divergent Series boxed set was Luke Schmotzer. Prize winners should pick up their prizes in the Library.

Winners of the poster drawings should check the library windows for a list of winners, after lunch today.

Reading Rocks at the Book Fair and Right to Read Week! Today is the last day to shop the Scholastic Book Fair and complete a Book Fair Scavenger Hunt to be entered into a drawing for a boxed set of The Divergent Series by Veronica Roth! Join us today during study hall to paint kindness rocks. Make sure to pick up a pass in the Library before study hall. Today’s trivia question is: In what era did the dinosaurs roam the earth? Correct entries will be entered into today’s drawing. Congratulations to Cameron Hurwitz and Max Seigle for answering yesterday’s trivia question correctly. Stop into the Library to pick up your prizes.

Congratulations to the 8th grade girls basketball team as they defeated the Hawken Hawks 23-18. The Lady Lions were led by Alayah Washington with 15 points and leading the team in assists was Nina Dzidzishvili. The win extends the girls winning streak to two games. Also contributing to the victory were Abby Martin, Dari Taylor, Kaitlin Alarafi, Samantha Bernon, Marina Caparossi, Elle Perkins, and Jenna Friedman. Way to go Lady Lions!!

The Yearbook Club will meet on Tuesday, February 12 after school in the Media Center. Please arrive on time and be prepared to create and refine your pages.

The Book Fair is open throughout the school day, so drop into the Media Center and pick out a new book! Complete a Book Fair Scavenger Hunt and be entered into a drawing for a boxed set of The Divergent Series by Veronica Roth! Join us today during lunch for some Stone-Age cartoons, or the opportunity to take a Google Expedition investigating dinosaurs and the Jurassic period. Make sure to pick up a pass in the Library before study hall. Today’s trivia question is: Name two dinosaurs who are herbivores. Correct entries will be entered into today’s drawing. On Saturday, February 9, 2019, Brady Middle School's Power of the Pen team competed in the District Tournament, held at University School in Shaker Heights.

Gabe Feinberg placed 11th place out of all of the seventh grade writers in the tournament, and Joy Utech won 8th place! In eighth grade, Remy Perry earned the 9th place award!

On top of that, the Brady 7th grade team and the Brady 8th grade team both won team trophies -- both impressively placing third out of all of the schools competing!
