Congratulations to the Brady wrestling team who finished their season on Friday at the Chagrin Valley Conference Championship Tournament. 11 wrestlers placed in their individual weight classes, helping the team earn a top 5 finish in the team race. Jackson Hurwitz, Zaid Al-Rahem, Willie Jones, and Christian Battle took 6th place. Jack Shedden, Sam Russo, Walker Smith, and Nicholas Nickens placed 5th. Donelle Taylor Blackwell placed 4th. Arthur Bartko and Terrance Davis earned 3rd place trophies for their individual weight brackets, both losing only one match the entire day. Congratulations to all the wrestlers on a great season! It is time to show your Brady Lion Spirit! Celebrate Spirit Week beginning Tuesday, January 22nd by wearing your coziest pajamas to school. Congratulations to the wrestling team on two solid performances on Tuesday and Wednesday. Winning matches for the Lions were Alex Ford, Willie Jones, Walker Smith, Donelle Taylor Blackwell, Jack Shedden, Zaid Al-Rahem, David Golden, Sam Russo, Terrance Davis, Arthur Bartko, Christian Battle, and Jackson Hurwitz. Arthur Bartko and Jackson Hurwitz both went undefeated during both days of competition! Congratulations to all Lions wrestlers for your hard work. The wrestling team will compete in the Chardon Invitational Wrestling Tournament this Saturday. Good luck wrestlers! Go Lions!
