Reading Rocks at the Book Fair and Right to Read Week! Today is the last day to shop the Scholastic Book Fair and complete a Book Fair Scavenger Hunt to be entered into a drawing for a boxed set of The Divergent Series by Veronica Roth! Join us today during study hall to paint kindness rocks. Make sure to pick up a pass in the Library before study hall. Today’s trivia question is: In what era did the dinosaurs roam the earth? Correct entries will be entered into today’s drawing. Congratulations to Cameron Hurwitz and Max Seigle for answering yesterday’s trivia question correctly. Stop into the Library to pick up your prizes.

Congratulations to the 8th grade girls basketball team as they defeated the Hawken Hawks 23-18. The Lady Lions were led by Alayah Washington with 15 points and leading the team in assists was Nina Dzidzishvili. The win extends the girls winning streak to two games. Also contributing to the victory were Abby Martin, Dari Taylor, Kaitlin Alarafi, Samantha Bernon, Marina Caparossi, Elle Perkins, and Jenna Friedman. Way to go Lady Lions!!

The Yearbook Club will meet on Tuesday, February 12 after school in the Media Center. Please arrive on time and be prepared to create and refine your pages.

Clean out your bookshelves! Donate books you no longer use to the MHS Book Swap. Chapter books for 4th - 7th graders; no picture or board books. Collecting through Friday, February 22nd. Look for MHS Book Collection boxes in the front hallway.



The Brady Middle School Flag Contest for 2019 - 2020 is here!!! Submit all entries to the front office by Friday, March 8, 2019. The guidelines are as follows:
  • Use standard size 8.5" x 11" white paper
  • Keep the design as simple as possible
  • Only original designs will be accepted
  • No copyrighted graphics allowed
  • Use ONLY orange, back and white in the design
  • Write your name, grade and Pride Leader on the back
