Announcements: February 12, 2019 | Day 1

On Saturday, February 9, 2019, Brady Middle School's Power of the Pen team competed in the District Tournament, held at University School in Shaker Heights. 

Gabe Feinberg placed 11th place out of all of the seventh grade writers in the tournament, and Joy Utech won 8th place! In eighth grade, Remy Perry earned the 9th place award! 

On top of that, the Brady 7th grade team and the Brady 8th grade team both won team trophies -- both impressively placing third out of all of the schools competing! 



Reading Rocks at the Book Fair and Right to Read Week!

The Book Fair is open throughout the school day, so stop into the Media Center and pick out a new book! Make your guess on the number of Lava Rocks and enter it into the drawing. Complete a Book Fair Scavenger Hunt and be entered into a drawing for a boxed set of The Divergent Series by Veronica Roth! Join us today for Library Lunch & Valentine making….make sure to pick up a pass in the Library before lunch.
Today’s trivia question is: The Grand Canyon has some extraordinary rock formations….how long is the Grand Canyon? Correct entries will be entered into today’s drawing.

Congratulations to Tanner Toohig and Francesca Taracila for answering yesterday’s trivia question correctly with the answer of igneus. Stop into the Library to pick up your prize.


Study tables will be held in Mrs. Bing's room, in the 6th grade hall during the Book Fair - from Feb 11-14th.

The Brady Middle School Flag Contest for 2019 - 2020 is here!!! Submit all entries to the front office by Friday, March 8, 2019. The guidelines are as follows:
  • Use standard size 8.5" x 11" white paper
  • Keep the design as simple as possible
  • Only original designs will be accepted
  • No copyrighted graphics allowed
  • Use ONLY orange, back and white in the design
  • Write your name, grade and Pride Leader on the back
