Every year, there are hundreds of known attempts to remove books from bookstores, libraries and schools.  That’s thousands of lost opportunities to explore ideas that fuel understanding. Words have power and access to diverse ideas makes all of us more powerful. Celebrate the freedom to read by reading your favorite banned book during Banned Books Week, September 24 -  30. Visit the library for more information.
Congratulations to girls Volleyball A team for another win!  Taylor Silverstein and Kynnedi Giles Watkins lead the team with 29 points  in the 3 matches played! Way to go ladies!
There will be an informational meeting today after school, Tuesday Sept 25 in Mrs. Foster's room 133.  If you cannot attend, please join the Google Classroom with this code: Z9EUB9.  There is information available outside room 133.
